Wow - the flavors are amazing! My friend had the spicy chicken rice noodles. WOW the layers of flavor! Delicious 😋 I had the fried mushroom with pork rice bowl. So tasty!😋 We both like spicy food and level hot was good. Tried the red can of Walovi cooling tea. It was good! I recommend trying it. Also the vegetable egg rolls are great. Friendly & efficient staff. 😊 If you’re scrolling for lunch, give Red Bowl a try!! 🍛😀

Red Bowl completely humbled me. From the outside, I wasn’t convinced. It’s tucked away in a small shopping plaza, the paint on the front door has seen better days, and while the dining room was clean, it could definitely use a little freshening up. There wasn’t even a beverage menu, so we had to ask what was available. At first glance, it’s easy to underestimate this place. That would be a mistake. The moment the food hit the table, literally none of that mattered anymore. We started with the cucumber salad, grilled squid, and chili oil dumplings. The dumplings were fantastic. The squid was tender, smoky, and disappeared embarrassingly fast. But neither one stood a chance against the cucumber salad. I genuinely don’t know what kind of sorcery was happening in that bowl. It was crisp, bright, spicy, acidic, refreshing, and somehow deeply savory all at the same time. We spent half the appetizer discussing the flavor profile and the other half trying to figure out how we could possibly recreate it at home. I’m still thinking about it. I went to Red Bowl for lunch. Great place with very attentive staff. I ordered hot for my beef noodle soup and it was great. The portions are ample and delicious! The owner came out and personally asked how I enjoyed the meal. I was very impressed how many times they checked on the temperature of the dish. Meaning spiciness. For me it was perfect but the consideration of making sure it was right for me was outstanding. Many people in the US do not understand Szechuan spice. The staff at Red Bowl were there to guide and help one experience the culture. Great place!

Fantastic food served by friendly people. The Seafood Hot Bowl, and Dumplings in Chili Oil are two of my favorites. The hot bowl is loaded with vegetables and seafood in a delicious spicy broth. It’s truly incredible. The dumplings in chili oil are succulent, spicy, and just plain wonderful. My favorite Chinese restaurant in Tampa. They’ve been turning out excellent food for years and they seem to be getting even better.

Very tasty and low key restaurant. If you like spicy ramen this is a very good choice. The fried chicken is also very light and crispy with a good level of spice. The dumplings and spring rolls were crispy, for the dumplings maybe too crispy. Overall I enjoyed the food.
